How Are You? How is Your Business?

Webinar on Tuesday, May 5 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm
Hosted by Arlington Chamber of Commerce
Registration is required. Information and registration here.

Hello from Arlington Entrepreneurs central in Arlington Center! Like the rest of you, I’m hanging in there and hoping that someday soon we’ll be able to socialize and go about our daily activities. In the meantime, I’m hunkering down and staying home to the greatest extent possible. I want to be a responsible Town citizen.

Due to illness and other circumstances (among them, the coronavirus), Arlington Entrepreneurs has very limited activity. That doesn’t mean business-specific events aren’t going on in other parts of town. Settle down with a beverage and snack for an indoor lunch and learn webinar hosted by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and True Story Theater: “How Are You? How is Your Business?” This virtual event will help you connect with other business people. Arlington’s True Story Theater will be participating with improvised theater to help tell your story. According to the Chamber:

“Grab some lunch and join us to connect with other Arlington business people. True Story Theater, Arlington’s own story-telling theatre, will listen to your experiences of the past month and embody them through compassionate improvised theatre.  How are you, the business people of Arlington, sustaining yourselves during the pandemic?  What challenges?  Any surprises? How are you getting support from the community, and what further support could you use?

This is an opportunity to connect with each other. It’s fine to just watch and listen.”
This event is free, but registration is required. Visit the ARLCC website to get more information and to register.

The Chamber is hosting a number of virtual events, some in partnership with the Town of Arlington. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Chamber is offering a free, 90-day membership to anyone who is currently not a member. After that, the price for sole proprietors (less expensive than standard membership rates) will be $135.00 per year. It might be worth a look. Check out the Chamber website for more information
