Polka Dot Powerhouse – A Women’s Business Networking Event

Share

Monday, June 25
1:00 and 7:00 pm
Portal Crystal Gallery
489 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington Center

At the Open House, we’ll introduce you to Polka Dot Powerhouse, an international organization of positive, action-forward, authentic women who make genuine professional and personal connections. We have local chapter meetings around the world as well as online connection events.

In the Polka Dot Powerhouse, any woman who wants to increase connections in her life (business owners, corporate and non-profit employees, entrepreneurs, direct sales professionals,
stay-at-home moms, retired women, etc.) discovers a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, enabling professional and personal growth, with celebrations every step along the way!

At our monthly meetings, you’ll meet like-minded women looking for a drama-free, pressure-free atmosphere. Our upbeat environment lets you cultivate your best qualities while you facilitate the same in others. Dots, as we often refer to our members, love to tap into the best traits of womanhood.

There will be two meetings on Monday, June 25. See our Facebook page for more information and to RSVP for either or both meetings.

Come in Out of the Cold – January Coffee at Kickstand

Coffee at Kickstand
Tuesday, January 30 from 2:00 – 3:30 pm
Kickstand Cafe, 594 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington Center
Parking available

General Admission: $10.00 *($5.00 on or before January 23!)
AE Premium Members: Free!

*Early bird pricing – make your reservation on or before Wednesday, January 23 for special pricing of $5.00 for general admission!

It’s been a tough January. We’re always a bit exhausted after the over-indulgences of the holidays. Add to that a flu-like something that’s been going around, mind-numbing cold spells, a record-breaking snow storm, impending flooding and you’ve got a weary group of entrepreneurs.

Let’s break the hex and get together for a January coffee break. We’ll be talking about the new year and any resolutions you made for your business. Arlington Entrepreneurs has some resolutions, too, including a visit to the business development experts at CWE (the Center for Women and Enterprise). We’ll tell you more about that at Kickstand.

Come out of the cold, or the wet, or just the plain old overworked. Enjoy some company beyond your four walls and share a beverage and snack. Then, kick back and do a little networking, a little chatting and a lot of relaxing!

See you later this month. RSVP early to take advantage of early-bird pricing!

January Coffee at Kickstand: What’s Your Goal for 2017?

What are your plans for 2017?

This is going to be a busy year and we’re going to be kicking it off with our monthly Coffee at Kickstand. Join us this Wednesday, January 25 from 2:30 – 4:00 pm. Coffee at Kickstand is one of AE’s “isolation busters” and provides an opportunity to get out of the house and spend some time with other people. We will be on-hand to talk about upcoming events and workshops, beginning in February. We’ll also be talking a bit more about AE Premium, a new initiative aimed at bringing more services to our community of freelancers and other self-employed folks. We’re starting that program with discounts on upcoming events starting in February. We’ll be adding more features on a regular basis.

We also want to know what your plans are for 2017. Just as important, we’d like to know how AE can help you meet your goals. Please share your goals and your needs. We’ll be listening!
