Capitol Square Celebrates East Arlington First Lights 2018

Saturday December 1st from 12-4pm

Capitol Square, East Arlington’s vibrant business district, celebrates First Lights 2018 on Saturday December 1st 2018 from 12-4pm with free entertainment, festive refreshments, special sales and holiday activities for the entire family.

The Capitol Theater will begin showing Classic Christmas Cartoons at 12:30. Lanie the Jolly Elf will make balloon magic at Artbeat, where kids can also make glittery Christmas ornaments. The new Lotus Flow Studio will offer fun Holiday Yoga. The Calvary Brass Band will play holiday music from 2-3 pm in front of Town Tavern, which will be serving hot cider to passersby.

Hot cocoa will be served at the new Adventure Pub and refreshments will be offered at all the participating stores. There will be special sales at 13Forest Gallery, Derby Farm Flowers & Gardens, Maxima Gifts, The Muse’s Window, Continentale Salon, Lotus Flow Studio, and Artbeat. Quebrada Bakery will give away free star cookies with any purchase and Thrive Juice Bar will offer free size upgrades for all its drinks and smoothies.
